The latest Graffiti Pop Art piece by the mother / daughter artist duo features the classic renaissance imagery of the Three Graces, Aglaia, Euphrosyne, and Thalia, with a graffiti/street style twist. This vintage mid-century piece was in desperate need of a makeover. With 3 badly painted layers, we first brought this piece down to it's factory finish. Stripped and ready to be refinished, we decided to use a neutral color palette and recreate a distressed grunge wall that had seen it all. Textured and drippy. With that finished it was time to start on the Three Graces. Done in a pop art style we realized this piece needed a pop of color. Neon Pink was calling, so we swiped it right across the eyes to make a statement. But we didn't stop there, we painted the inside of the cabinet and drawer this screaming neon pink to surprise any who open it. This piece of functional art will now become a statement in any room. Classical meets Graffiti.
