Originally a dresser in need of refinishing, it is now a piece of functional art. A luxury statement piece. We wanted to keep this in a neutral color palette with a pop of color. Primed, we started with spray paint for a graffiti finish as the base. After the base was finished we taped off stripes and painted them in black, having the graffiti peak through. "Badass" was painting in red, to make a screaming statement, done in a bold font. We painted the outline of a pop art face over the graffiti on the sides and a pop art face with rays on the mirror. Most of the time the mirrors of these pieces are unwanted and thrown away, so it has now become an art piece. Original mirror still peaks through.

This is the latest piece created by the self taught mother / daughter artist team who are the creators behind Gray Gardens Design.
